Step 2 : 3D Modeling (Digital Sculpting)

Concept-to-Digital Conversion

The 3D modeling stage begins with transforming the approved 2D concept design into a highly detailed and accurate digital 3D model. Using advanced professional 3D sculpting software, our experienced modeling team carefully develops the character’s shape, proportions, facial features, textures, and surface details within a virtual environment. Every design element is precisely recreated to ensure the original creative vision is maintained throughout the development process. This stage establishes the essential structural foundation for prototype creation, mold development, and final production, allowing the team to evaluate the design from multiple angles and prepare it for efficient manufacturing.

Proportion & Facial Detail Development

In this phase, our team focuses on refining accurate body proportions, facial expressions, clothing details, and unique character features to achieve a highly detailed and visually appealing 3D model. Every element is carefully adjusted to maintain proper balance, realistic structure, and consistency with the approved concept design. Special attention is given to facial accuracy, emotional expression, and signature characteristics, as these elements play a vital role in defining the identity and personality of collectible figures. Through precise digital sculpting and continuous refinement, we ensure that the final model captures the original artistic intention while meeting the quality standards required for professional toy production.

The model is then carefully divided into separate production-ready components, including the head, body, arms, legs, and various accessories. This segmentation process is planned according to mold design requirements, assembly methods, material properties, and manufacturing efficiency. Our engineering team evaluates each part to ensure proper connections, structural stability, and smooth production flow. Additional adjustments may be applied to improve durability, prevent deformation, and optimize the design for injection molding or resin casting processes. By considering both artistic details and technical requirements, we ensure that the final 3D model is not only visually accurate but also practical for efficient mass production.

Manufacturing Optimization & Final Approval

Before moving to the next stage, the completed 3D model undergoes a detailed optimization process to ensure moldability, structural reliability, and production feasibility. Our engineering team carefully checks important technical aspects, including wall thickness, part connections, joint structures, assembly alignment, and overall model stability. Any necessary adjustments are made to improve manufacturing performance while preserving the original design details and visual quality. After completing all technical evaluations and final design refinements, the 3D model is submitted to the client for review and approval. Once confirmed, the finalized model proceeds to the next development stage: prototype creation through professional 3D printing.
